Do I need any shots or immunizations to travel to China?

Previously, there were no particular immunizations that were required for entry into China unless the traveler is coming from a yellow fever infected area. For travel to remote areas, immune globulin is also recommended to combat hepatitis A, and typhoid fever immunizations as well as current polio and tetanus immunizations. Currently, due to Covid-19, China has new policies that you should check in advance if you are planning to visit China.
